As your representative of the citizens of Ward 5 for the city of High Point, I have spent the last 6 years listening to your concerns and advocating for your needs. The time has come for me to step up to the next challenge and show the entire city the level of service that the citizens of Ward 5 have seen.
I'm first and foremost a Christian and very proud of my faith. My commitment to my Lord and Savior is the guiding light in my life. I am and always will be a Marine...Semper Fi. I swore an oath to serve my country and that oath does not have an expiration date. My service to my community over the last 6 years is a continuation of that same commitment to my fellow Americans.
Why I'm running for Mayor - I am humble enough to admit that this will be a challenge and will require my faith and input from the community. I have proven my effectiveness over the last 6 years. This is a step that I have been contempleting since our last election in 2019. I know that I am as ready as I will ever be and that I can lead our city council as we strive to make our city a safer, more inclusive, and prosperous place to live, work, and play.
Who Should Vote for Me - If you value authenticity over political agendas, I am your next Mayor. Many voters look at demographics, political affiliations, and other deciding factors. I have always looked at one specific determining factor when it comes to political candidates. When it comes to my vote, I ask myself; is the person running because they would benefit the job? Or is the person running because the job would benefit them? My intentions are selfless and my heart is for the community. I want to see the lives of every citizen of High Point enriched by the efforts of our city leaders.
